Cloud Space Yearly Plans: Renewing and Changing Size
Published
Every Cloud Space plan is a single payment for one year of storage, and it never renews by itself. To keep your Cloud Space, renew before the year ends: another year of the same size is added to your end date. To move to a bigger or smaller size, choose that size: it starts a fresh year today, and the time left on your current plan is added on, converted at the new plan's price.
What does a Cloud Space plan include?
One year of the storage size you choose, from the day your payment is confirmed, with Premium in the My NoteVault app included for that year. One Android phone and one browser can use the Cloud Space at a time.
| Size | Price for one year |
|---|---|
| 1 GB | $19.99 |
| 5 GB | $24.99 |
| 10 GB | $34.99 |
| 50 GB | $79.99 |
| 100 GB | $149.99 |
Prices are in US dollars, and taxes may apply; Google Play and the Galaxy Store show your local currency at checkout. The Cloud Space page shows which ways of buying are open right now.
Does Cloud Space renew automatically?
No. Nothing is charged again unless you choose to renew, so there is no subscription to cancel. Your end date is shown on space.mynotevault.in under Storage & plan, and in the app's Cloud Space tab.
What happens when the year ends?
- Uploads stop. For 30 days after the end date, the grace period, you can still open, download and delete your files.
- Renewing within those 30 days turns uploads back on. The new year starts on the day you pay.
- After the grace period, the encrypted files may be permanently deleted. Our terms say that, where we can, we warn you by email first, using the address from your purchase. We have no email address for a plan bought in Google Play or the Galaxy Store, and we don't send reminders before a plan ends, so note your end date.
Download anything you want to keep before your plan ends, and keep your own copies of files that matter.
How do I renew for another year?
A Cloud Space renews in the same place it was bought. If that way of buying is closed for a while, the site or the app says so when you try, and nothing is charged.
- Bought on space.mynotevault.in: sign in there, open Storage & plan, choose Renew or change size, then Continue to payment. The renewal page opens in a new tab: pick the same size, enter your email for the receipt and your phone number, and pay. The payment goes through Cashfree Payments, and your payment details go to Cashfree, never to MyNoteVault. If your Cloud Space is still open in the first tab, it shows the new plan when you go back to it. The renewal link works for 2 hours; after that, open Storage & plan again for a new one.
- Bought in the app, on Google Play or the Galaxy Store: in the My NoteVault app from that store, open your vault and the Cloud Space tab, tap Renew or change size, pick the size and pay in the store.
Renewing early loses nothing: the new year is added to your current end date, so you keep the time you had left.
How do I change to a bigger or smaller size?
Choose Renew or change size and pick the other size. The new size starts a fresh year today, and the time left on your current plan is added on top, converted at the new plan's price. Nothing you paid for is lost: your unused days become fewer days on a bigger size and more days on a smaller one.
For example, on the website or the Galaxy Store, with 200 days left on 5 GB ($24.99), moving to 10 GB ($34.99) adds 200 × 24.99 ÷ 34.99, about 143 days. The new plan ends one year and about 143 days from today. Moving down works the same way, and the credit buys more days: 200 days left on 10 GB adds about 280 days to a new year of 5 GB.
- Your files have to fit. You can only choose a size your stored files fit in, so delete files first if you want a smaller size.
- Google Play works out the credit itself for a plan bought there, prorating the remaining value for time, so its numbers can differ slightly from these examples (Google Play's billing documentation).
What stays the same when I renew or change size?
Your files, your Vault ID, your access file and your secret phrase. Only the size and the end date change, and Premium in the app runs to the new end date. You don't need to download anything again or sign in on your devices again.
Can I get a refund?
Every plan follows our refund policy: a change of mind within 7 days, with nothing uploaded since the payment, gets the full amount back. Ask from space.mynotevault.in → Storage & plan → Purchases; a Google Play purchase can also be refunded by Google Play itself within 48 hours. Refunds go back through the store you paid with.
Is there a monthly plan?
No, Cloud Space is sold by the year only. Premium on its own, without cloud storage, is $1.49 a month; the pricing page lists it next to the Cloud Space plans.
Where do I start if I don't have a Cloud Space yet?
Private Cloud Backup for Photos and Documents on Android explains what Cloud Space stores and how to put vault files there, and How to Open Cloud Space on a Computer shows how to reach the same files from a laptop.
